Pleasant View Baptist Church Our Goals for YOU We assure your WELCOME             Many churches “say it” or “market it” – we do it. You WILL receive a GENUINE, unforced welcome by our people that happens very naturally.  We are truly a family church where all ages, backgrounds and levels of Christian maturity ENJOY being together – and that will include YOU!   We will teach you the WORD   Our pastor-teacher clearly and carefully teaches the Word of God.  Pastor Tom believes that we need to hear from God. His messages and teaching lessons clearly explain the Bible and help you to apply it to your life.  Obedience to the Word of God is the key to Christian growth and a closer walk with God.   We will lead you in WORSHIP   The goal of our church is to bring glory to God – in our daily lives and in our corporate worship. Our music style might be called “blended” – a mixture of hymns and praise choruses. Our service leans toward being fairly traditional – but we love to throw in surprises from time to time. We do not believe that we are bound to any particular style of worship or music, but that the HEART is the key to pleasing God.        We will encourage your WITNESS   We are very enthusiastic about Jesus and thankful that he is our Savior.  We hope to make every service a time in which you are encouraged so much by the love of God and the grace of our Savior that you desire to share Him with others.   There is nothing more exciting and compelling to us than the fact that the GRACE of Jesus reigns supreme in our lives, and we believe that the natural outgrowth of that passion is COMPASSION for others.  Sunday Worship: 9:30 A.M.   Sunday School classes and KidsSHARE:  10:45 A.M.
